Adam is a calculus and physics AP tutor who will do in home lessons in the cities of Torrance and Redondo beach and in most areas of Palos Verdes. He has been tutoring for many years and has been trained by Kumon (where he also worked prior to joining this network). He is currently a UCLA student with a major in biochemistry. With his expertise in this field he is well capable of tutoring math through advanced calculus for the Torrance and Redondo beach School districts. He is also adept in the sciences and tutors AP Chemistry and AP Physics and Biology.

"Hi, my name is Adam, I grew up in Rancho Palos Verdes. attended Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, and am currently taking upper division courses at UCLA with a major in BioChemistry. I have been tutoring for over 9 years and have a passion for helping others. When I began my studies at UCLA I had wanted to go into the pharmaceutical field, but after some contemplation realized that my passion was in teaching and in helping others to learn. It was through tutoring my peers and then working at Kumon and privately that I realized not only my sincere desire to help others to learn these difficult subjects but also that I had a knack for making these concepts easy for my pupils to understand.

I am able to teach math all the way up to Calculus AB or BC, Biology AP, Chem AP, Physics AP, and English. Some other areas of interest for me have been after school programs at UCLA, doing volunteer work at the UCLA hospital, and participating in various tutoring centers before joining PV and South Bay Tutors.

I look forward to working with your student and in helping him/her to become the best student s/he can be. I believe nearly all of us can focus better, study more efficiently, and do better academically than we often currently are doing. It is my goal not only to explain math and science concepts to my students but also to motivate them to become better versions of themselves academically."
