Susanna lives in the North Redondo Beach area and will travel to surrounding cities to tutor English for all K-12, math up through algebra 2, SAT prep for verbal and essay sections, and science for K-8th and biology.

Education: Susanna graduated from *UC Berkeley* (Magna Cum Laude) with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. She then went on to get her masters in fine arts from LMU.

Experience: She began tutoring at the learning center at UC Berkeley, and has since tutored for Kaplan and Mobile Minds learning centers. She is currently a trainer for incoming teachers at Kaplan, and tutors various subjects there herself. For SAT prep she was trained by Mobile Minds and is available to teach all verbal and essay sectins of the SAT. In addition to her formal tutoring jobs she has been tutoring various Math, English, SAT prep, and science subjects privately for 6 years.

Perhaps the best credential Susanna has is as a teachers assistant while in college. The TA in college teaches along with the professor, and can sometimes help students in a closer manner than the professor himself, often in one to one or small group environments.

Personality: Susanna has a lively and engaging personality which is suited perfectly for tutoring. She has great explanation skills and is always encouraging her pupils. In addition she is highly intelligent and can "think on her feet" as the saying goes. Kids as well as adults are really drawn to her fun personality.
