Kara is available to tutor the math subjects of pre-calculus, trigonometry, geometry, and all algebra levels for both regular and honors courses. She is also an excellent choice if you need someone for all subjects from kindergarden to 8th grade.

Kara got her start tutoring in high school. She also taught for several terms at an after school program at Mar Vista Elementary school...where she helped students in a small groups of 3 or 4 at a time.

Some of Kara's strong points as a tutor include her charisma and enthusiasm...which makes lessons fun and focused at the same time. She is a favorite among the kids she tutors for her outgoing and charismatic personality. This is matched by an ability to explain high level math concepts as well as grade school material in a way that her pupils find easy to understand. Her tutoring experience of several years is quite impressive for a Junior college student.
